This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.388/2021 registered under Sections 279/337 IPC registered at PS Kalkaji, basis settlement dated 18th December 2023 arrived at between the parties with facilitation of Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, Delhi, which is on record of this Court.

Petitioner and respondent no. 2 (complainant) are present in Court and are duly identified by the IO and the respective counsel. 3.
As per the settlement, respondent no.2/complainant has received Rs.10,000/- from the petitioner in the Court today. Petitioner undertakes to wire-transfer another Rs.10,000/- to respondent no.2/complainant during the course of the day, in order to take care of his expenses, since complainant is The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Respondent no. 2 states that he has no objection to the FIR being quashed.

Cross FIR being FIR No. 734/2021 PS Kalkaji has also been agreed to be quashed, as per para 4 of the settlement, in which the petitioner being a complainant, has undertaken to cooperate in the process. 6.
Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No.388/2021 registered under Sections 279/337 IPC registered at PS Kalkaji, Delhi and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 8.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
