This is a petition filed under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 6 months for making and passing the final award. 2.

It is stated that the parties have already concluded their arguments and only the arbitral award is to be passed.

Issue notice. Mr. Mehrotra, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and states that he has no objection to the petition being allowed.

For the reasons noted above, I am of the view that sufficient cause has been shown for the delay.
