This is an application filed under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of the arbitral award. 2.
The order dated 17.10.2024, passed by the learned Sole Arbitrator records as under:
"3. Since the mandate of the Tribunal was extended by the Hon'ble High Court by a period of six months from 23.04.2024, it would be necessary for the parties to seek a fresh extension to enable the sale of the property in question and for the settlement of accounts of D.R. Kukreja& Co. The learned counsel for the Claimants states that she shall move an application for such extension. The learned counsel for the Respondents state that when such an application is moved they shall support the same. The application be filed prior to 23.10.2024." 3.
Respective counsel for the parties submit that the arbitral proceedings are at an advanced stage and are likely to be completed within four months from today.

Considering the averments made in the petition and the submission of respective counsel for the parties, the time period for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of arbitral award is extended till 31.03.2025. 5.
