The Petitioner, Fight Against Corruption, is an NGO, dedicated to resolving issues related to corruption and malpractices causing losses to the Government as well as the public.

The Petitioner had filed a complaint/ information under Section 19(1)(a) of the Competition Act, 2002, along with affidavits of informants on 19th March, 2024. The grievance of the Petitioner is that although case The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

No. 12/2024 has been assigned to them by Competition Commission of India ('CCI'), however, no further action has been taken by the Respondents in the past five months, despite reminders from the Petitioner. 3.

In the above circumstances, the Petitioner has invoked Article 226 of the Constitution of India to seek a mandamus to direct Respondent No. 1 to complete the enquiry of the matter and submit a final report. Additionally, directions have been sought against Respondent No. 1 to disclose all actions taken in respect of the aforesaid case No. 12/2024. 4.

Mr. Akhil Mittal, counsel representing CCI, has handed over a copy of order dated 4th September, 2024, which indicates that in its ordinary meeting held on 4th September, 2024, the commission has considered the information and decided to seek comments/ replies from Delhi International Airports Limited and GMR Airports Limited (Opposite Party Nos. 3 and 4 in Case No. 12/2024). Additionally, the commission has decided to seek comments of the said opposite parties on specific questions delineated in the said order. A copy of that order has been provided to counsel for the Petitioner, and has also been handed over across the board. The same is taken on record.

On the basis of the said development, Mr. Mittal states that the Petitioner can now inspect the documents and records of the case, as per Rule 38 of the Competition Commission of India (General) Regulations 2024.

In light of the above, the relief sought in the present petition stands redressed, and therefore, no further orders are necessary. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of.
