By way of the present petition, the petitioner challenges the pen picture of Annual Performance Assessment Report (in short, 'APAR) of the year 2020-21 and the Order dated 27.08.2024 issued by the respondent no.2, that is, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), by which his representation against the same was rejected by the respondents on the ground of delay.

Having heard the learned counsels for the parties, we are of the opinion that the respondents should consider the representation of the petitioner against his APAR for the year 2020-21 on merits and decide the same by way of a speaking order and communicate such order to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from today.
