By way of the present petition, the petitioner prays for the following relief: - "(i) Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to step-up/upgrade the pay of petitioner at par with his junior Ramesh Chand in terms of judgments dated 07.12.2009, 03.01.2014, 06.04.2015 and 19.09.2024 passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.

(C) Nos.5867/2003, 7840/2012, 8826/2014 and 6838/2016 respectively with effect from the date the junior was granted upgraded pay and consequently revise pension of petitioner on said basis and make payment of arrears of pay/pension."

We are of the opinion that the present petition should be considered as a representation of the petitioner by the respondents, and the respondents shall pass a speaking order thereon and communicate the same to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from today. It is so directed.
