By way of the present petition, the petitioners complain that there is no promotional avenue at the post of ASI/Pioneer in the Central Reserve Police Force (in short, 'CRPF'). 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioners states that a cadre review exercise is being carried out by the respondents. He submits that the petitioners shall be satisfied if their representations for creating a promotional post is considered by the Cadre Review Committee. 3.

The learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice, submits that he has no instructions regarding any fresh cadre review exercise being carried out at present. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, we dispose of the present petition by directing that the respondents shall consider the present petition as a representation of the petitioners during the cadre review exercise that is being carried out, if so, or the next cadre review exercise that shall be carried out by the respondents.
