O R D E R

% 09.03.2017 The petitioners have filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.191/2016 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 323/341/342/506/34 IPC against the petitioners at Police Station Maurice Nagar.

The complainants are present in Court. They are identified by the Investigating Officer.

The parties have arrived at a settlement on 22.02.2017, which has been placed on record. The complainant states that they have not been subjected to any pressure or coercion and they have entered the settlement out of own free will. The complainant further states that they join the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.

I have interacted with the petitioners, who are present in court. The petitioners have been counselled not to take law into their own hands and be mindful of their conduct in future. They have expressed their regret and assured the court that they will not involve in any criminal or violent act in future.

Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed.
