Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already moved an application for recording of the petitioner's statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal procedure, 1973 / Section 183 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, before learned Chief Judicial Magistrate (East), Karkardooma Courts.

Learned Standing Counsel for State, Mr. Sanjay Lao, undertakes to provide adequate protection to the petitioner in case she wishes to approach the police station at which subject FIR no. 239/2025 has been registered (P.S. Civil Lines, Muzaffar Nagar).

Let the application before the learned CJM be decided on its own merits.
