CONT.CAS(C) 164/2018 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging violation of order dated May 26, 2017 passed in W.P.(C) 4743/2017. The directions of this Court in Paras 4 and 5 of the order are as under: - "4. Learned counsel for the respondent, who appears on an advance notice, assures the Court that the pending petition / applications dated 16.08.2016 and 22.10.2016 filed by the petitioner shall be considered and decided in accordance with law.
5. In view of the submissions made hereinabove, the present petition is disposed of with direction issued to the respondent to examine the petition / application filed by
the petitioner (Annexure P5 and P6) within eight weeks from today and pass an appropriate order. If considered necessary, notice shall be issued to the Society and the parties named in the petition / applications before passing appropriate orders."
Mr. Anjum Javed, learned Addl. Standing Counsel who appears for respondent no.2 states, he has instructions to state that order shall be complied with, within a period of two weeks from today. The said statement is taken on record. If the order is not complied with within the time referred to by the learned counsel for respondent no.2 on instructions, petitioner shall be at liberty to revive the contempt petition. The petition is disposed of.
