Writ Petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India read with Section 528 of B.N.S.S. has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner for grant of Parole for four weeks.

Status Report has been filed on behalf of the State, wherein it is submitted that the Petitioner was last released on Furlough and after availing 3rd spell of Furlough for a period of two weeks, he surrendered on 23.08.2025 of his current conviction year, i.e. 23.01.2025-22.01.2026. He filed an Application for Parole, while he was on Furlough. After his surrender on 23.08.2025, his Application has been forwarded for consideration on 06.10.2025.

Considering the submissions made, present Petition is disposed of with directions that in case, the Application is not decided or his Parole is rejected on or before 05.11.2025, the Petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court.
