On the last date of hearing, i.e. 16.10.2025, the following order was passed by this Court and certain clarifications have been sought: "The learned ASC for the State seeks time to obtain clarification/instructions that whether separate parole application have to be filed by the applicant herein in the matter. Let the same be filed, at least two days prior to the next date of hearing." 2.

In this context, the learned ASC for the State has placed on record a communication dated 20.10.2025, of Dy. Superintended, Central Jail No.2, Tihar, New Delhi. The same is taken on record. 3.

error, inasmuch as instead of 'parole', it has inadvertently been mentioned as 'furlough'.

The above said order is modified to the extent that paragraph 10 (v) shall now read as under:

"Immediately upon the expiry of the period of parole, the petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent." 5.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, the period of parole granted to the petitioner vide order dated 16.10.2025 is extended for a period of two weeks, on the same terms and conditions contained in the said order. 6.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
