O R D E R

% 19.08.2016 (1) The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.38/16 under Sections 376/506 IPC registered at Police Station Shahdara. Status report is on record.

(2) I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file. By an order dated 01.03.2016, the petitioner was granted interim protection and was directed to join the investigation as and when required. Undisputedly, the petitioner has since joined the investigation. The petitioner and the prosecutrix, aged around 28 years, were acquainted with each other. Physical relations took place BAIL APPLN. 452/2016

between the two on several occasions. The prosecutrix in between became pregnant.

When the prosecutrix came to know about the marital status of the accused, she lodged the FIR. (3) Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is admitted to anticipatory bail and in the event of his arrest, he be released on bail on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of `40,000/-with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating Officer with the condition that he shall join the investigation as and when required.

(4) The bail application and all pending application(s) stand disposed of.
