Ms Suchitra Goswami, in this petition, has impugned the interlocutory order dated 27.01.2016 passed by the Principal Bench, Central Administrative Tribunal in CP No. 418/2014, which seeks implementation of order dated 06.05.2014 passed in OA No. 3193/2012.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the contempt petition was adjourned on the pretext that the respondents wanted to file a review application before the High Court. Respondents had, in fact, challenged the order dated 06.05.2014 in WP(C) No. 6907/2014 titled: Union of India vs Suchitra Goswami, but the said writ petition was dismissed in terms of the decision dated 10.10.2014. It is an accepted position that no review application has been filed till today for review of the decision dated 10.10.2014.

Our attention is also drawn to the order dated 18.04.2016, whereby the Tribunal had adjourned the contempt petition after noticing that the present writ petition is pending in the High Court. 4.

The petitioner is seeking implementation of order dated 06.05.2014, which as per the respondents has been implemented and complied with. The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the matter has been adjourned on at least twenty occasions. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that they are fully co-operating and have been pressing for early hearing of the matter.

In view of the aforesaid position, we dispose of the writ petition with a request to the Tribunal to take the contempt petition for hearing on 20.05.2016, the date already fixed. Counsel for the petitioner and the respondents assure that on the said date they will not take adjournment. We hope and trust that the Tribunal will be able to dispose of the matter within a reasonable period of time, and preferably before 30.07.2016.
