The present petition under Sections 2(b) and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, read with Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeks the following prayers:

"i) Initiate appropriate civil contempt proceedings against the respondents and punish the Contemptors / respondents accordingly;

ii) Pass appropriate orders / directions to the Contemptor / Respondent no. I and 2 to comply / directions passed by this Hon'ble High Court of Delhi vide order dated 16.04.2024; iii) Pass such further or other orders which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case." 3.

That pursuant to aforesaid demolition / sealing orders already passed in respect of the subject properly the Building Department -II of South Zone - MCD has also tried /taken / carried out the necessary action as per details given herein below:

31/05/2024 Upon availability of police force, 02 RCC panels demolished and cut at Stilt floor slab, further defaced all floors and internal brick walls also demolished.

After taking the said action the entire building has been sealed by putting seal at 01 point at the entrance of the building at Stilt floor.

The Photographs taken during the aforesaid demolition/sealing action are annexed herewith as Annexure-G (Colly)."

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition.
