The appellant/Insurance Company has preferred the present appeal seeking reduction of the amount of compensation awarded vide judgment dated 03.07.2024 by the learned Tribunal. The record reveals that the Insurance Company has deposited the entire awarded amount before the Registrar General of this Court in terms of order dated 25.10.2024 passed by the learned Appellate Judge, High Court of Delhi.

We have interacted with the learned Counsel/parties concerned. Apropos such interaction and due deliberation, it is agreed between the parties that out of the awarded amount along with accrued total interest, a lump sum amount of Rs.2.20,000/- shall be refunded to the appellant insurance company and the balance amount along with total accrued interest shall be paid to the respondents/claimants in such The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. proportions forming a part of the award subject to fulfilment of the requisite formalities. The share of the minor shall remain in fixed deposit till he/she attains the age of majority and thereafter, the same be released along with the accrued interest.

The Registrar General shall refund a total sum of Rs.2,20,000/- to the appellant insurance company.

The statutory amount deposited as a pre-condition for filing appeal with interest, if any, be refunded to the Insurance Company. 5.
The present appeal alongwith the pending application(s), if any, is disposed of with directions in terms of the foregoing settlement. 6.
A copy of this order be sent to concerned Ld. Tribunal with LCR, if requisitioned and received.
