Learned counsel for the parties state that the dispute between them has been settled before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Patiala House Court. A copy of the settlement agreement dated 14.07.2025 has been produced in Court and is taken on record. The settlement agreement states, inter alia, that the sum of Rs.2,90,000/- which has been deposited in this Court would be released to Mr. Sonu, legal heir of the original respondent Smt. Bimla.

In view thereof, Mr. Ashish Sheoran, learned counsel for the appellant, seeks permission to withdraw the present appeal. 3.

Having regard to the above, at the request of Mr. Sheoran the appeal, alongwith the pending application, is dismissed as withdrawn. The Registry is directed to release the amount deposited in this Court alongwith interest accrued thereupon to the respondent.
