Mr. Akhil Mittal, counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents no.2, 5, 6 and 7/MCD submits that an order has been passed by MCD on 17th June, 2025 under Section 343 of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957 (DMC Act), in terms of which, the deviation/excess coverage beyond the sanctioned building plan has been compounded.

Accordingly, the Show Cause Notice dated 9th October, 2024 has been dropped and a revised sanctioned building plan has been issued on 25th May, 2025.

In view thereof, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition any longer. 5.
