The present writ petition concerns allegations of illegal construction at premises No. 21, Rajpur Road, Civil Lines, Delhi. 2.

The writ petitioner is a lawyer and admittedly not a resident of the area in question. The only ground for filing of the writ petition is that the petitioner practices at the District Court, Tis Hazari. At this stage, Mr. Anuroop P.S., learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to approach the Special Task Force, constituted by the Supreme Court vide orders dated 24.04.2018 and 18.07.2018 in W.P.(C) 4677/1985 [M.C. Mehta vs Union of India & Ors.] or to file a petition invoking the public interest litigation jurisdiction of this Court, if he is so advised. 4.

It is made clear that this Court has not made any observation upon the maintainability or merits of the matter.

The petition, alongwith all pending applications, stands disposed of with these observations.
