The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:

"It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue writ in the nature of Public Interest or any other appropriate decision or order: a) to the respondent to Upload / Publish the cut-off marks in CUET for admission in LL.B. and selection list in the public domain every year."

Petitioner is a student and had appeared for the Central University Entrance Test Examination (hereafter CUET) in the year 2023. 3.

The petitioner contends that the declaration of the result is not transparent inasmuch as the entire cut-off list is not disclosed and, therefore, candidates have no information as to the students who are higher in order of merit. There is also no means to verify that only those students that have scored higher marks have been admitted to the concerned courses. pertaining to the particular student is shared with that student. 4.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent University contests the said statement. He referred to paragraph 6 of the counter affidavit which reads as under:

"6. It is respectfully submitted that the cut-off lists have been published and categorized as programme-wise and category-wise on the dashboard (CSAS) of each candidate/stakeholders for the Academic Session 2024-2025. Further, the details regarding vacancy of seats in each programme has also been published on the dashboard (CSAS) of all stakeholders/candidates for the Academic Session 2024-2025. Therefore, the relief sought for by the Petitioner herein already stands satisfied."

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that dashboard of each candidate/stakeholder discloses the entire cut-off list in a transparent manner. Thus the candidate/stakeholder can not only view his CUET score but can also view the CUET scores of other students who are offered admission.

In view of the counter affidavit and the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent, no further orders are required to be passed. 7.
