This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of mandate of the Sole Arbitrator.

It is stated in the petition that the Substitute Arbitrator was appointed by this Court vide order dated 26.02.2024 in O.M.P (T) (COMM.) 17/2024 and the mandate of the Arbitrator has expired on 25.08.2025. The arbitral proceedings are at the stage of recording of evidence of the Respondents. 5.

Counsels, as above, accept notice on behalf of the respective Respondents and on instructions submit that Respondents have no objection to the extension of mandate of the learned Arbitrator. 7.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended by a period of 09 months from 26.09.2025 and period between 26.08.2025 to 25.09.2025 is regularised. 8.

Petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
