This is a petition filed under sections 29A(4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 8 months from 18.10.2025 for making and publishing the award.

It is stated that the delay occurred as parties were trying to settle the matter out of the Court.

Mr. Choudhary, learned counsel for the respondent, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed.

I am satisfied that a sufficient cause has been shown for the delay. Hence, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended up to 8 months from 18.10.2025 to conclude the arbitration proceedings and make and publish the Award.
