The present petition has been filed under Section 29A(4) and 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent on advance notice does not oppose the aforesaid request.

It is submitted by counsel for the parties that the arbitration proceedings are at the stage of final hearing and are likely to be concluded shortly.

Accordingly, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a further period of three (3) months from today. 5.

Counsel for the parties submit that the mandate had otherwise expired on 24th August, 2025.
