The present writ petition has been filed alleging raising of unauthorized construction at Plot No. L-45, Sarafa Bazar, Laxmi Nagar (East Delhi), without obtaining any prior sanction/permission from the concerned Department of Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD"). 2.

Responding to the present writ petition, learned counsel appearing for respondent no.1, i.e., MCD submits that as per the Memo of Parties, the petitioner, i.e., Mr. Salman is a resident of L-05, Sarafa Bazar, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi-110092. It is submitted that upon inspection and on enquiry, it has come to the fore, that no such person named Mr. Salman is a resident of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. the property mentioned in the Memo of Parties. 3.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent no.1-MCD further submits that the property in question, which is subject matter of the present writ petition, is an old and occupied property and no construction is going on in the property in question.

Learned counsel appearing for the MCD has handed over a copy of the Status Report, dated 22nd September, 2025, along with the photographs, which is taken on record.

Considering the aforesaid, the present writ petition seems to have been filed with some ulterior motive.

The Court deprecates such a conduct where such petitions are filed by the petitioners, who are fictitious or do not stay in the property, which is alleged to be their own residence.

Accordingly, this Court will not entertain such a petition. 8.

The present writ petition, along with the pending applications, is dismissed.
