The present petition has been filed under Articles 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Naragik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking issuance of writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, thereby directing the respondents to produce the wife of the petitioner namely Ms. 'A,' who is missing from 17.09.2025. 2.

Ms. 'A', wife of the petitioner, is present through video conferencing. She submits that she is aged about 24 years and that she is a graduate. 3.

She submits that the divorce between her and the petitioner was finalized in 2023 and that she does not wish to stay with the petitioner. Her statement is taken on record.
