The present petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 675/2021 under Sections 420/467/468/471/120B IPC registered at Police Station Kanjhawala based on a settlement agreement dated 21st March 2024 arrived at between the parties before the Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre.

Petitioner and respondent no. 2 (complainant) are present in Court and are duly identified by the IO and the counsels. Respondent no.2 confirms having received the settlement amount and states that she has no objection to the FIR being quashed.

of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No. 675/2021 under Sections 420/467/468/471/120B IPC registered at Police Station Kanjhawala and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. 4.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 5.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending application is disposed of as infructuous.
