Since the petitioner has an alternative remedy under Section 116 of the Delhi Cooperative Societies Act, 2003 ('DCS Act') we deem it appropriate to dispose of the present petition by relegating the petitioner to avail the alternate remedy.

In case, if the revision is accordingly preferred, we direct the authority to deal with the petition expeditiously, having regard to the claim of the petitioner that he is a senior citizen.
