The petitioner is carving his right under the vending certificate issued by the respondent on 6th November 2021, wherein he is permitted to carry out vending activity in South Zone, Ward-S-61. 2.

It is the case of the petitioner that the respondents are causing interference in his vending activities and that being so, an order of restraint be passed against the respondents.

A categorical statement is made by the respondent that as far as the petitioner continues to carry out the vending activities in accordance with The Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 (Act of 2014), there is no reason for the respondent to The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. disturb the petitioner.

Apart from the above, we are equally required to be sensitive to the fact that the vending certificate permits the petitioner to vend by using gas cylinder/fire.

In that eventuality, the petitioner cannot be termed as a mobile vendor.

Keeping in view the aforesaid observations, we expect the parties to conduct themselves in accordance with the Act of 2014. 7.

That being so, with the above observations, we dispose of the present writ petition.
