The petitioner challenges the decision of the Sentence Review Board (SRB) whereby his request for pre-mature release was declined. One of the arguments advanced on behalf of petitioner is that the SRB in 2024 took into consideration the Social Investigation Report of 2022. However, after addressing partly, learned counsel for petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition, with the request that case of the petitioner be considered in the forthcoming SRB meeting after obtaining fresh Social Investigation Report. 2.

Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the directions to the State to consider case of the petitioner afresh in the forthcoming SRB meeting after conducting fresh Social Investigation within three weeks. 3.
