Petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.332/2017 under Sections 323/354/354B/451/506/34 IPC, Police Station Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi, based on a settlement.

At request of the counsel for the petitioner, the victim - Aarti is impleaded as respondent No.3.

Amended memo of parties along with her affidavit are taken on record.

Her original Aadhar Card has been produced, copy of the same is also taken on record.

Compromise Deed dated 27.12.2017 & 20.02.2018 have been executed between the petitioner as well as respondent No.2. 5.

Respondent No.2 is present in Court.

She submits that the settlement is also on behalf of her minor daughter, apart from respondent CRL.M.C.1170/2018

No.3.

The petitioners are present in person in Court today. They have regretted the incident and have undertaken that no such things shall be repeated in the future.

Respondent Nos. 2 & 3 are present in person, represented by counsel and are identified by the Investigating Officer. They submit that they have settled their disputes with the petitioner and do not wish to press charges against the petitioner and prosecute the complaint any further. 8.

In view of the fact that the parties have settled their disputes through Compromise Deeds dated 27.12.2017 & 20.02.2018 and they are neighbours and respondent Nos. 2 and 3 do not wish to press any charges against the petitioner and do not wish to prosecute the complaint, continuation of criminal proceedings will be an exercise in futility and justice in the case demands that the dispute between the parties is put to an end and peace is restored; securing the ends of justice being the ultimate guiding factor. It would be expedient to quash the subject FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom.

In view of the above, of FIR No.332/2017 under Sections 323/354/354B/451/506/34 IPC, Police Station Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi, and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed. 10.
