O R D E R
% 05.02.2019 1.
The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, impugning the denial of visa to his wife. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents states that the visa has been denied to the petitioner's wife, as she was blacklisted. He submits that her name has now been removed from the said category and there would be no impediment for the petitioner to apply for a visa afresh.
2.
He further submits that if the petitioner's wife applies for an OCI card, her application shall be considered in accordance with law. 3.
The respondents are bound down to the said statement and the petition is disposed of.
4.
It is clarified that this Court has not examined the question whether
the action of the respondents in blacklisting the petitioner's wife was otherwise illegal or sustainable in law.
