This is an application filed by the respondent seeking rectification of the order dated 26.09.2025.

Learned counsel for the applicant states that in para 5 of the said order, it has wrongly been recorded that, "a similar Amnesty Scheme floated by the MCD in the year 2023, was challenged by some assessees on similar grounds vide W.P.(C) 6420/2013 & batch".

He states that though the said fact has been recorded on the basis of the statement made by him, however, as a matter of fact, in the said writ petition, a challenge was made to the demand and subsequently, during pendency of the petition, some assessees sought to avail the benefit of the said Amnesty Scheme floated by the MCD in the year 2023.

Accordingly, we correct para 5 of the said order, which shall read as under:- "5.

Per Contra, Mr. Tushar Sannu, learned Standing Counsel for the MCD vehemently opposes the submissions of the appellant. He states that on a previous occasion, a similar Amnesty Scheme floated by the MCD in the year 2023, was sought to be availed by some assesses on similar grounds vide W.P.(C) 6420/2013 & batch. Vide order dated 02.02.2023, a Coordinate Bench in para 6 had passed interim directions in the said batch which reads thus:- "6. In these circumstances, the Corporation will accept the requisite amount payable by each of the petitioners, without insistence on furnishing an affidavit containing inter alia an averment to the effect that they would withdraw their respective writ actions."

This order will be read in conjunction with the order dated 26.09.2025. 6.

The application stands disposed of.
