Pursuant to the order dated 26.09.2025, it is an admitted position that the petitioner was permitted to participate in the interview and presentation stage of the recruitment process for the post of Assistant Professor (Mechanical Engineering) in the respondent - Delhi Technological University ["University"], but was not successful. 2.

The respondent - University has handed over a copy of its counter affidavit in the Court, which is taken on record. 3.

In view of the aforesaid, Mr. Neeraj Kumar Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition. 4.
