Writ Petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for directing the Respondent/SHO not to interfere in the lawful installation of the lift by the Petitioner at Flat No. 116, 2nd and 3rd Floor, Shivalik Apartments, Alaknanda, New Delhi.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that they have already got the permission from the MCD on 20.06.2025 for the installation of lift despite which, the SHO is interfering and obstructing the installation of the lift.

Learned Counsel on behalf of the State submits that they have been not been interfering except that when a PCR call was received, the Police had visited the spot to maintain the law and order and the DD entry had been closed.

In view of the submissions made, the Respondent is directed not to obstruct the installation of the lift in accordance with the permission and the rules.
