The present petition filed under Section 29A(4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeks extension of time for completion of the arbitral proceedings and making of the arbitral award. The learned Sole Arbitrator was appointed by this Court on 31.10.2022 in ARB.P.769/2022.

Respective counsel for the parties jointly submit that the learned Sole Arbitrator has proceeded with expedition and dispatch, and the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments. It is stated that some further time would be required to complete the arbitral proceedings and make the arbitral award.
