% 08.07.2017 During the negotiations the matter stands amicably settled between the parties. The amount awarded by the learned Tribunal is Rs.10,20,312/- with interest. Seventy five percent of the said amount totalling to Rs.9,87,130/- has since been deposited by the insurance company with the Registrar General and though some amount has
been released but Rs.1,97,426/- is still lying with the Registrar General. It is now agreed between the parties that the insurance company shall further deposit an amount of Rs.5 lakh within 45 days with the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee in favour of respondent No.1 lest interest @ 9% shall be payable from the date of default. The respondent No.1 hence shall be entitled to the amount of Rs. 5 lakh plus Rs.1,97,426/- lying with the Registrar General with accrued interest. This shall finally settle all claims of the injured against the insurance company. Accordingly both the appeals stand disposed of. The amount lying with the Registrar General shall forthwith be released to claimants respondent No.1. Statutory amount, if any, shall be released to the insurance company. In view of above nothing more remains to be done in these appeals, hence the appeal stands disposed of. Order dasti.
