These petitions have been filed seeking quashing of cross FIRs no. 684/2017 registered at PS Vasant Kunj, Delhi under Sections 323, 341 and 506 IPC and FIR no. 672/2017 registered at Vasant Kunj (North) under Sections 279/323 IPC based on settlement arrived at between the parties dated 30th July, 2024 which is on record of this Court. 2.

The respective petitioners and complainants in these matters are present before this Court and are duly identified by the IO. 3.

The respective complainants state that they have no objection to the quashing of the FIR, since they have amicably resolved the issues. 4.

Considering that the FIR is of 2017, both the petitioners in each of the respective matters who are present before the Court shall pay cost of Rs. 25,000/- to Chhanv Foundation (Acid Attack Organization), Bank Name: Kotak Mahindra Bank, A/c No. 5213224861, IFSC Code KKBK0000214, Branch.

The said cost be paid within two weeks and affidavit of compliance be filed in two weeks thereafter.

6.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No.684/2017 under Sections 323, 341 and 506 IPC registered at PS Vasant Kunj, Delhi and FIR no. 672/2017 registered at Vasant Kunj (North) under Sections 279/323 IPCand proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. 7.
