The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that appropriate action be taken against the accused in FIR No. 0005/2018 under Sections 354D/506/509 IPC, in the interest of justice. The petitioner alleges that she had received threatening calls and has filed the FIR in this regard. 2.

Status reports have been filed in this case, which indicate that the police authorities have undertaken investigation into the complaint made by the petitioner. It has been found that the calls received by the petitioner were made from thirty seven separate sim cards and all of them are untraceable. The CDR and CAFs of the mobile calls were sought from service provider and efforts have also been made to trace out the callers. However, the addresses on which such SIM connections were issued were found to be fake. By an order dated 18.09.2018, this Court had also directed that investigation be carried out to determine whether there was any

commonality in the mobile instruments used.

In this regard, it is reported that most of the mobile instruments could not be found but eight different mobile instruments, bearing separate IMEI numbers, were traced and there is no commonality between the owners of those mobile instruments. It is also stated that the petitioner had reported that threats were received on 02.11.2016, 04.11.2016 and 29.12.2017 but she has not reported any threat thereafter. This Court is further assured that if any further threat is reported, the Police Authorities shall act without any delay and ensure that efforts would be made to apprehend the caller. 4.

This court is informed that untraced report has been filed by learned CMM and a Protest Petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioner. 5.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition. The same is disposed of.
