Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1.

Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in Court along with their counsel and accept notice.

It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 are neighbours.

A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issues, which led to registration of FIR no. 72/2015 under Sections 308/34 IPC at police station Palam Village on the complaint of respondent no. 2. With the interventions of their common friends and other family members, petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 have settled their disputes amicably, vide a

Memorandum of Understanding dated 24th February, 2018; therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed.

Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in Court along with their counsel and have been identified by SI Sandeep Kumar of police station Palam Village.

Respondent nos. 2 and 3 admit having settled the matter with petitioners of their own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and have no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioners.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR no. 72/2015 under Sections 308/34 IPC registered at police station Palam Village and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
