Mr. Vishal Chanda, counsel for Respondents states on instructions that presently there are 2,735 applications which have been filed before Respondent No. 1 - Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council1, District (West) by Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises2. He states that these applications are being taken up by the Respondent on a 'First Come, First Serve' basis. In this regard, he submits that around 2,100 applications have been dealt with since 2021 and it is aimed that around 300 further applications will be dealt with by the MSEFC by December, 2024. 2.

He further states that the applications filed by the Petitioner under the MSMED Act, 2006, before Respondent No. 1 - MSEFC, District (West) are 1 "MSEFC"

likely to be taken up in the first quarter of 2025. 3.

In light of the aforenoted statement made by Mr. Chanda, counsel for Respondents, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Respondents to take up the Petitioner's applications as per the aforenoted timelines.

It is made clear that in case the Respondents do not abide by the above timelines, the Petitioner shall be free to approach this Court for suitable directions.

All rights and contentions of the parties are left open. 6.

With the above directions, the writ petition, along with pending application(s), is disposed of.
