1. The present petition under Article 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India seeks to assail the order dated 25.10.2024 passed by the learned Central Administrative Tribunal (Tribunal), Principal Bench, New Delhi in Original Application (O.A.) No. 4210/2024 (Delhi). Vide the impugned order, the learned Tribunal while issuing notice in the O.A., has issued interim directions, directing the petitioners to permit the seven respondents to participate in the interview process being conducted in respect of Combined Administrative Services Examinaiton-2023.

advance notice, submits that the impugned order has already been given effect to as all the seven respondents have been issued call letters to appear for interview which is slated for 3.30 pm today itself. This position is not denied by the learned counsel for the appellant.

3. In the light of this stand taken by the respondents and having perused the impugned order, we find that the learned Tribunal has permitted the respondents to participate in the interview by making it clear that the said directions would remain subject to outcome of the O.A. with a further order that the results of the respondents will not be declared without the leave of the Tribunal. We, therefore, find no reason to interfere with the impugned order.

The writ petition alongwith pending applications is, accordingly, disposed of. We, however, make it clear that in case any other similarly placed person approaches the learned Tribunal for seeking relief on the basis of the impugned order, it will be open for the learned Tribunal to consider the same on it's own merits without being influenced by the impugned order.
