% 18.05.2016 The appeal directed against the judgment dated 11.04.2012 of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (Tribunal) seeking enhancement of the compensation was filed in May 2013.

Since it was filed belatedly, an application for condonation of delay was also submitted therewith.

The matter arising out of the appeal and the said application has remained pending ever since.

None has been appearing on behalf of the appellant for the last three consecutive dates. The situation remains the same even today. The matter was passed over and called out several times. Even at 3.40 p.m. there is none present for the appellant / applicant. No good reason to wait further or to defer the matter yet again.
