The Petitioner has been convicted and sentenced by the Trial Court under Sections 364, 302, 201 and 109 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, through decision dated 4th June, 2009. The Petitioner's requests for furlough were accepted in terms of order dated 4th/ 8th July, 2024 passed by Commissioner, Gurugram Division, Gurugram. In terms of the said order, the Petitioner is required to furnish a personal bond and two sureties amounting to INR 2 lakhs each for observance of the conditions specified in the release warrant.

The Petitioner's contention is that the sureties produced by him have not been accepted by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Narela, Respondent No. 2.

Certificates1 of the respective motor vehicles, were not found to be adequate as one of the RCs were hypothecated by the bank. 4.
Counsel for the Petitioner states that the value of one of the vehicles is INR 7.5 lakhs and he is also willing to deposit the original RC with Respondent No. 2.

In light of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to Respondent No. 2 to accept the surety bonds/ bail bonds on furnishing of the requisite documents mentioned above and completion of other formalities in terms of the release warrants mentioned above, on or before 8th November, 2024.

With the above directions, the present petition, along with pending application, is disposed of.
