This Petition under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the Petitioner for extending the mandate of the Sole Arbitrator for a period of six months.

The disputes in the matter pertains to a Contract dated 29.08.2016 which was entered into between the parties for the renewal of Value Added Services Agreement dated 17.04.2012. The said agreement is stated to have been further renewed vide Agreement dated 08.08.2018. 3.
Material on record indicates that the Sole Arbitrator was appointed by this Court on 15.03.2022. Material on record indicates that the last of the mandate of the Sole Arbitrator was extended by this Court on 06.05.2024 for six months from 06.05.2024.
