% 08.03.2018 It is submitted that respondent no. 2 alleged in the FIR that he was a tenant of one Ravi Khanna.

On 6th September, 2010 petitioner claimed herself to be the owner of tenanted premises and tried to take forcible possession of the tenanted premises. It is further submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably; therefore, FIR No. 501/2010 under Sections 448/427/380/34 IPC registered at police station Shahdara and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with his counsel and

has been identified by SI Amit Chaudhary of police station Shahdara. Respondent no. 2 says that he has settled the matter with petitioner of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and he has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioner. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 501/2010 under Sections 448/427/380/34 IPC registered at police station Shahdara and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
