By the present petition, the petitioner seeks direction that the investigation in FIR No. 137/2022 dated 09.09.2022 registered at Police Station Economic Offences Wing for offences under Sections 406/409 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 be concluded expeditiously. The petitioner further prays that the investigation in the FIR be carried out in a particular manner. 4.

It is the case of the petitioner that certain important aspects have not been looked into by the Police.

In regard to the prayer to conclude the investigation in an expeditious manner, the learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that the investigation is likely to be concluded within a period of 8 to 12 weeks.

In view of the above, this Court does not consider it apposite to pass any order at this stage.

The petitioner additionally seeks the following: "ii. Pass appropriate writ, order and/or direction thereby, directing the Respondent to register FIR No. 0137/2022 dated 09.09.2022 against beneficiaries of the siphoned off amount;

iii. Pass appropriate writ, order and/or direction thereby, directing the Respondent to add section 120B, 403, 406 and 411 in FIR No. 0137/2022 dated 09.09.2022"

In regard to the prayers under (ii) and (iii), the petitioner is at liberty to file an appropriate application before the concerned Magistrate.

The present petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 10.
