% 23.03.2018 On the oral prayer made by the counsel for the petitioners, complainant Sajid is impleaded as respondent no.3 to the lis. Amended memo of parties be filed during course of the day. Respondent nos. 2-Usman and respondent no. 3-Sajid are present in Court and have been identified by SI Ramesh Kumar of police station Sultan Puri. They submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion vide Settlement Deed/Memorandum of Understanding dated 25th January, 2018. They further submit that they have no objection in case FIR No. 72/2015 under Sections 308/34 IPC registered at police station Sultan Puri and the

consequent proceedings are quashed.

A perusal of FIR shows that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 are living in the same locality. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issue which led to registration of present FIR. Now, they have settled their disputes amicably. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
