O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 825/2025 3.

This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator. 4.

Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of arguments on two applications filed by the Respondents. Mandate of the Arbitrator has expired on 18.05.2025 and the same be extended so that arbitral proceedings can be concluded and award can be O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 825/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. passed. Counsel also draws the attention of the Court to procedural order dated 08.07.2025 passed by the Arbitrator, wherein counsels for the Respondents have categorically stated that if the Claimant files an application before this Court for extension of the mandate, they will give their no objection.

Counsels, as above, accept notice on behalf of their respective Respondents.

For the reasons stated in the petition, the same is allowed as the Petitioner has made out a case for extension of the mandate of the Arbitrator. Accordingly, mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator is extended by a period of 9 months from 06.10.2025 and period between 19.05.2025 to 05.10.2025 is regularized.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
