This writ petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- "i. Issue a Writ of Mandamus in favour of Petitioner's Society and against the Respondents cancelling the permission dated 27.08.2025 in favour of Respondent No. 4 for performing Ramleela in DDA Plot No. 33 C & D Block main Road Haiderpur, Delhi-110088 granted by Respondent No. 1/DDA on the basis of false representations of Respondent No. 4 and false verification reports of Respondent No. 2 and 3. ii.. Allow the petitioner Society to hold Ramleela & Dussehra celebrations 2025 at DDA Plot No. 33 C & D Block main Road Haiderpur, Delhi110088 from 24.09.2025 till 10.10.2025. iii. Direct the Respondent No.1/DDA directing the DDA to file the complete record on which the permission dated 27.08.

Ms. Manika Tripathy, learned Standing Counsel for DDA submits that the writ petition is infructuous as the relief sought was for cancellation of permission dated 27.08.2025 for performing Ramleela. 3.
I find merit in this submission. The writ petition is rendered infructuous and is accordingly disposed of leaving questions of law open. This will not preclude the Petitioner from taking recourse to legal remedy in case of fresh cause of action.
