CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJIV SHAKDHER
O R D E R
% 16.04.2018 1.
This is a writ petition which is directed against the order of appointment dated 26.09.2016 passed by the Ministry of Culture, Akademi Section.
2.
By virtue of this order, respondent No.3 was appointed as an Administrator of Lalit Kala Akademi. It is not disputed before me by learned counsel for the petitioner that the term of respondent No.3 came to an end on 31.03.2018.
3.
I may indicate herein that learned counsel for the petitioner who seeks to assail the impugned order, relies upon a common order dated 10.04.2017, passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.P (C) No.11681/2015, titled as Akhilesh Verma & Anr. Vs. Union of India & Ors. and in WP(C) No. 3106/2016, titled as Manish Pushkale & Ors. Vs. Dr. Sudhakar Sharma & Ors.
4.
Based on this order, it was contended that respondent No. 1 should have appointed only a full time Administrator to Lalit Kala Akademi. 4.1 In any event as noticed above during the pendency of the writ W.P.(C) 2114/2017
petition, respondent No.3‟s tenure has come to an end. 5.
As is obvious the Division Bench judgment rendered on 10.04.2017, came to be passed after respondent No.3 had already been appointed as an Administrator.
6.
Given the foregoing, it is clear that the writ petition has been rendered inefficacious. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. RAJIV SHAKDHER, J APRIL 16, 2018 neelam W.P.(C) 2114/2017
